Here are 3 simple tips to take better iPhone photos right now:

1. Clean Your Lens (Seriously!)

Before you take a single shot, wipe your lens with a soft cloth or your shirt. Our phones live in our hands, pockets, and bags — and fingerprints or smudges can make even the most beautiful scene look hazy or dull. A clean lens = sharper, more vibrant photos instantly.

2. Use Natural Light — If you can.

Lighting is everything. Try to shoot in natural light whenever possible — by a window, outside during golden hour (that magical hour after sunrise or before sunset), or in open shade for softer, flattering tones. Avoid using the flash unless you’re going for a specific effect — it usually flattens your subject.

3. Tap + Hold to Lock Focus & Exposure

Want more control? Tap your screen on the subject you want in focus, then hold your finger down to lock the focus and exposure. A little sun icon will appear — slide it up or down to brighten or darken the image before you snap. This one trick alone can make your photos look more polished and professional.
